  • P2-A) KEEP IT SIMPLE:

    This gets people asking you questions. People you know and people you don't know. It's free business. Know the button response to the different buttons, (Book 1 pages 12 to 14)

  • P2-B-3) TALK TO PEOPLE:

    Share these products and opportunity with every one. Talk to some people and make some money. Talk to lots of people and make lots of money.  There are 2 groups of people in our lives, people we know and people we don’t know.  We will start with people we know.  (Book 1 pages 15 to 19)

  • The fastest way to start this business is to share the products and opportunity with people that you know.  Give your friends and family a chance to take a look.  Don't be afraid of what they might say, show what you are doing along with the facts and let them decide.  Never make decisions for anyone.  If they are not interested, that's fine.  Now they know what you are doing and may be interested at a later date.  In most cases, no has a temporary meaning.  Keep in touch with your contacts from time to time by letting them know how you are doing.  Some of them will try the products or join Herbalife when they see you becoming successful. 

  • The whole idea is to show people what you have and that's it.  They don't have to buy or join, all you want them to do is to take a look.  Here is an opportunity for them to start a business or feel the way you do.  Don't think of it as trying to sell them something.  Give them a chance to change their life as well.

  • Have a Grand Opening! Every business that starts has a Grand Opening. You've seen car dealerships, restaurants, corner stores, they all have a Grand Opening. They let everyone they know and everyone in their area about their new business. It doesn't mater if they buy anything or join, just as long as they know.   • Launching a New Division! Every once in a while businesses will launch or start something new and they will have another Grand Opening. Those of us who been involved for a while can follow this well proven business idea. It can be anything new to have another Grand Opening.   • Make a list of people that you know.  (Book 1 Pages 18-19.)  Canadian statistics say that the average person knows between  200-300 people.  Make a wedding list.  If you were to get married and didn’t have to pay for the wedding, whom would you invite?  Who is in your current address book, your cell phone, etc.

  • P2-C)  WHAT TO SAY:

    Option 1 Great.  Let’s exchange numbers and I will call you when I get back to my office.

  • P2-C-3 Home Parties:  The invitation is very important.  Do not say too much because every one will want to think about it and your success rate will decline.  Follow these two suggestions word for word.

  • Products:  Hi ________, this is ________.  Do have plans for __________?  I'm having a health party.  There will be health tips and easy healthy recipes.  There will also be health products available, everything from weight loss to weight gain, from headache to PMS. relief.  You may get a free facial.  If you are interested, there will be discounts for those who come.  Bring some friends, it will be lots of fun.  Can you come?

    If yes, time and location.  Do not get dragged into a question and answer period.

    If no, set up a time and location for an individual appointment.  "Can you help me out?  I have to get some practice before the party.  Can I come over and practice on you.

  • Business:  Hi _______, this is _______.  Do you have plans for ______?  I just started a new business that I can do from home and I'm really excited.  (Tell personal results.)  It's part of my training to get some people together in my home.  My supervisor will present the company and the products.  All you have to do is come and listen and ask lost of questions.  That is how I learn, can you make it?

  • Follow-up:  A day before or that morning call them back.  “Am I ever glad you are coming.   Looking forward to seeing you tonight at _____.    This is going to be a lot of fun and you are going to be so impressed. (Follow this, you will be guaranteed success.)

  • P2-C-4 Business Script: This is what we use when we do cold calls to businesses to set up appointments.  Have some fun with this.

    My name is ___ and I'm with ____.  Over the next few weeks we are showing different businesses and individuals how to effectively increase their income.  If I can show you a way to make $500 to $2000 a month over & above your present income without disturbing your occupation at all, how would you take a look?"   I am requesting the courtesy of about 30 minutes of your time.  I have an opening at ____ today or at ___ tomorrow.  Which time better suits your schedule?         
PART 3 ADVERTISING!
  • ADVERTISING:  This allows us to talk to people we don’t know.  There are many forms and ways of advertising.  Flyers, Pull-Tabs, Hot Pockets, Draw Boxes, News Paper Ads, Web Sites, you can purchase leads are just a few.  The scripts are below.

    Flyers and or Pull-Tabs are an effective way to advertize that's very inexpensive, it just takes the time to put them out. A few examples are below.

  • Hot Pockets is a piece of paper folded and stapled or taped to form a pocket big enough to hold the retail or recruiting flyers making sure the top of the flyer can be seen, Lose Weight Now! or Work From Home!  Double sided tape can be placed on the back so that they can be placed anywhere, such as Bulletin Boards, any kind of pole near people such as side walks, just above the button you push to cross the street, on the back of the paper roll in bathrooms, everywhere and anywhere.  Use your imagination to put up all of these.

    This is a great way to get your name out there and it's basically FREE. The concept is you put these containers around your area in different businesses. You can offer the business 5% to 10% of any sales you get from the boxes. Of coarse you need to tell the business owner why you want to put the box out and ask them if they would like to take a look.

    We use the empty shake cans as the Draw Cans. Use them upside down, the bottom is softer to cut a slot for the draw cards.

  • P4-C-2)  LABELING LAWS: If there were any condition what so ever, where a person should not use these products, it would have to be listed as a WARNING on the label.  We have no warning on our labels, except for the iron warning on Formula # 2 for children, which is a standard warning for all vitamins containing iron.  This means everyone with any medical condition, using any medications and any age can safely use our products.  We have a few Notices and Cautions.  A Notice or Caution means that the product is safe to use but it is not recommended under certain situations in different countries.   Every country has different Notices or Cautions on our products and is mainly for insurance purposes.  It has little to do with the actual product.

  • P4-E) DIETARY BODY CHANGES: ***Do not increase your milk intake..use soymilk*** Headaches, nausea, bloating, constipation, diarrhea. The most common underlining cause of these symptoms is increased milk consumption or dehydration.  Make sure they are drinking enough water and or mix shake with water or juice.  Starting people with Herbal Aloe helps to eliminate 90% of these symptoms.  Some people in the beginning may need something small to eat with the shake. This helps the body adjust to the dietary change.

PART 5 CUSTOMER CARE & FOLLOW UP!
  • CUSTOMER CARE (Book 3 pages 4-9) Very Important.  The main purpose of Customer Care:

    1) Shows that you care about their results and can make a difference in how quickly they start feeling and seeing results.

    2) Shows them how to use the products.

    3) Personalize the program to suit them.   If you don't know it's broke, you can't fix it. 

    4) Upgrade to more products.  Through follow up, customers upgrade to more products.  Use the tools available, Product Catalogs and Journals.  The more products you use yourself, the easier it is to upgrade your customers.

    5) Happy customers will become long-term product users.

    6) Happy customers freely give referrals.  (Next section)

    7) Happy customers often become your best distributors.

    1) Try not to ask yes and no questions.  E.g.) Did you take your shake?  Ask this instead: What did you mix with your shake?

    2) Tell them when and how to use the products.

    3) Have them weigh and measure on a regular bases.  Follow the chart.

    4) You may call your customers or they may call you.

    5) Listen and take good notes.  Always make them feel good about themselves, Herbalife and you.

    6) Ask for referrals. (Book 3 page 9)

    KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER:

    1) You have to believe that your customer will get results more than they believe it themselves.

    2) You have to be the cheering squad for your customers.

    3) It’s not really what you say about the products, it's how you feel about what you say.

    4) Your customers will be your best distributors.  Show them the discounts they would receive.  Show them how they could get products for free.  Show they how to build a business.

    5) Mark Hughes:  “Care more about your customer’s success than the money you make from them and you will be successful!”

    6) It’s your customer’s responsibility to get results, you are there to support them, not do it for them.

  • TROUBLE SHOOTING:

    There are only 2 reasons why the program does not work for our customers.

    1) They are not using the products correctly.   Simple, 3-2-1.  3 sets of tablets, 2 shakes, 1 meal every day and it will work the same for you as it did for 45 million other people.

    2) They are cheating way, way, way, too much.

    3) Be aware that ½ the population cannot handle an increase in dairy milk.  Instead use Soya milk, can mix ½ & ½. Or mix shake in different types of juices.  

    4) If a person is hungry, make sure they are using the products properly.  Make sure they are eating a well balanced meal once a day.  Can increase products to help with appetite.  An extra shake or an extra scoop of shake or add in more protein, F#3.

    5) Nausea – can be a sign of dehydration, increase your water.  Can also be a sign of detoxification, add in the Herbal Aloe and that will help with the cleansing and settling of the stomach.  Herbal Aloe is our problem solver.

    6) Headaches – can arise from dehydration, low blood sugars and or detoxification.  Drink lots of water, make sure you are eating regularly and increase your Herbal Aloe.

  • REFERRALS:

    (Book 3 page 9)  Always ask for referrals, Who do you know? Your satisfied customers are usually more then happy to give referrals. I always ask, Maybe you can help me out?  When people start noticing your results or if you think of other people you know that would like to have your results, would you mind referring them to me?   (if they say they want to lose weight before giving any referrals, ask them how much they would need to lose to feel comfortable with giving you referrals).  Some pay for referrals.  e.g.)  10% off their next order per referral, 5 referrals, a free program.  Or pay $5.00 - $10.00 per referral.  Drop the seed of the opportunity to your customers.

  • The message you leave on your home system, your friends will hear and they will probably wonder “what’s up.”  So be prepared, this message will be an easy way to introduce friends and family, or anyone who may call your number, without even trying.  There are many different types of messages.  The following is what we use.

    “Hello.  You have reached the home office of ____________.  Due to the overwhelming response to our advertisement, we are tied up with other callers right now.  But please leave your name, telephone number with area code, how you heard about us and the best time to reach you.  We look forward to talking to you.  Thank you for calling.”

  • P6-11-B) Three Way Calling is a must.  This allows you to conference 2 different calls together so you are able to talk to both at the same time.  You will use this to sell product, do follow up with your customers and distributors, expand your organization and much, much more.

  • P6-11-C) Call Waiting allows you to take an incoming call while you are on the line with another person.
